About

The Office of Medical Education improves the health of our communities by fostering the professional development of a clinician workforce within and beyond Kaiser Permanente.

Medical Education is housed within the Washington Permanente Medical Group, with oversight for graduate, undergraduate, and pre-medical education across the state. We collaborate closely with clinical teams and with Kaiser Permanente colleagues in Clinical Quality, Safety, and the Bernard J Tyson School of Medicine.

We create educational pathways and regional partnerships that address the workforce needs of Kaiser Permanente Washington and the Pacific Northwest.

Serving over 500 medical students, pre-career students, and residents annually, we love what we do and are excited about the future of medicine.
